About
About FutureWorks
FutureWorks is a Detroit AI and robotics neighborhood center in formation — an open building where people can practice with real machines and take clear steps toward work.
Why it exists
Downtown Detroit has drawn significant tech investment: Michigan Central, the U-M Center for Innovation, TechTown, and a large Gilbert and Rocket commitment sit within a few square miles. Much of that work is degree-gated, software-first, or not designed for neighborhood walk-in access.
There is still no open, all-ages place in the neighborhoods to work with humanoid robots and serious AI tools. FutureWorks is meant to close that gap — a public floor for practice, classes, and pathways into jobs or ventures.
Organization status
FutureWorks is a nonprofit organization in formation. An EIN will be issued upon incorporation. Until then, partnership and donation interest is welcome through the contact form and email below; we do not solicit gifts under a fabricated legal identity.
Founding
FutureWorks was founded by a group of entrepreneurs.
